4. What are the Methods and Approaches Used to Determine When/Where a Gene is Active in the Arabidopsis Life Cycle and How to Isolate the Upstream Regulatory Region of a Specific Gene? (10 minutes)

Individual Talks (15 minutes each - 150 total minutes)
Each talk should contain (1) an introduction to the transcription factor studied (3 minutes), (2) a summary of the questions asked and results obtained (8 minutes), and (3) a discussion of the significance of the results to seed development and what experiments need to be done in the future (2 minutes).
There will be questions asked after each talk (2 minutes).
